How to take care of your body during spring

In spring you can go to sleep a little later and wake up earlier. It is important to have lots of sleep as your body has to adjust to the weather change after the winter season. There is that unpleasant wind in spring so be sure you are dressed warmly; if this wind gets into you, it can cause harm.

It is important to eat lots of green veggies (celery, asparagus, lettuces and more you can find at your local farmers market). Include ginger, dandelion leaves and parsley or cilantro in your diet. Dandelion tea, nettle tea or milk thistle tea are good for detoxing your body and to clear the gallbladder and liver. It is beneficial to focus our attention also on our eyes and muscles - they are connected to our liver and the gall bladder. Daily stretching, yoga and eye yoga are recommended. Try to meditate and be calm, let go all the anger stored inside of you every day, let go, clean yourself inside from blocked emotions and especially all that anger. Try to dissolve it :

"I clear all the anger stored inside of me right now"

"I clear all the pathways which let go of anger"

Warmer weather is on its way. Nature is slowly awakening , various shades of green are appearing. It is time to pay closer attention to the green color around you. You can use green to heal your Heart Chakra. Green color is great for your nerves, your inner balance and relaxation. Because green color relieves stress and calms you down, it can help people who experience symptoms of ADHD.

The color green always works in support of growth, so never treat tumors or cancer cells with green color, as we do not want them to grow!

As a massage therapist I can recommend touching and massaging your head. Comb your hair with your fingers, do a self-head massage to beat the spring fatigue. Every morning do the head massage. Point Baihui sits on the crown of the head. This point is called the " Gate between Man and Heaven ". Gently press your thumbs on this point and then massage that area with circular motion.

Massage your feet and the inside line of your thighs all the way to your pubic bone. This can help to stimulate the lymph from the large and small intestines to dump their toxins into the blood.

Have a beautiful spring season, go outside as much as you can, enjoy nature and blooming flowers and trees, stay calm and have fun! Love yourself every day!
