Autumn is the best part of the year to practice introspection, our inward awareness. It is very healthy for us to clean our mind and let go anything negative we may be keeping inside. When did you last do a big clean up of your mind? Release our bad memories, painful experiences that still hurt us today. Let memories be just that - memories, not current realities. Simply put, holding on to the past can endanger your present and future.
Take a deep breath. Inhale deeply, exhale deeply. Keep breathing, focus on your body while breathing slowly and steadily. Relax your shoulders, your face. Let all that tension leave your body now. Relax your belly and legs. Check your shoulders and head again. Are they relaxed? Let all the tension go as you breathe out. How much are you holding on to? Clean it all out, let your mind and body to be relaxed and comfortable. Let go. Forgive those who have hurt you. You have to let go of all the waste - stored waste in the body = constipation. Now you are free to use your mind to create a better future. This takes some practice, but the rewards are infinite.
Autumn is a great time to finish up any lingering projects and to prepare for new ones.
To prepare the way for new things to come into our lives, we must first clean the old things and get rid of that which no longer serves us in a positive manner. Go through your closets, dressers, attics, cellars, garages - and don't forget to clean out your computers, tablets, etc. Delete the old junk, memories that don't serve you anymore - streamline your entire operation. Release any emotional attachment you may have to old memories, and make space for the new.
Keep breathing deeply. Breathing deeply and focusing on the breath strengthens your lungs. Your lungs help you to let get rid of whatever you don't need. The lungs are the most threatened organ in November - if you take care of your lungs you can avoid runny nose, sneezing and congested sinuses.
In November people suffer from grief and sadness more than ever, which can be attributed to an imbalance in their lung energy.
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF THE LUNGS IN NOVEMBER?
Practice "Letting go."
Live your life to the fullest.
Don' t be scare to take life in! Remember that you are always safe!
Love yourself and your life!
Boost your immune system with
- vitamins, plenty of water
- healthy food - for example almonds, walnuts, ginger, fruits, vegetables of the season
- wash your hands often, don't touch your face with dirty hands
- gently massage or tap your Thymus gland (called "the Happiness Point") in the upper part of your chest, over the breastbone. Tapping on that area neutralizes negative energy in your body.
Massage your chest area and also the points on the Lung meridian.
Go for a walk outside to breathe the clear autumn air, notice the colors in nature and how nature is slowing down to prepare for the winter.
Exercise Qi Gong, Tai Chi in nature.
Practice correct breathing together with correct posture.
Be warmly dressed (a scarf can be your best friend).
