THE LARGE INTESTINE AND LUNGS IN DECEMBER

In December the most threatened organ in your body is the Large Intestine. The Large Intestine is closely associated with the Lungs and skin, and all of them are very important detox organs. The emotions we feel in Autumn and early Winter are usually sadness and grief, both of which are associated with the Large Intestine. Sad feelings often arise when sadness is blocked in your chest and Lungs, creating toxins, and intoxicated lungs can't work properly with the Large Intestine. The result is that you can't let go of emotions of sadness and grief, your bowels are stuck, and that leads to constipation. Sometimes people choose to keep thoughts that clutter and clog their bodies inside, which means their bodies become toxic.

Another example may be a common cold that you may been trying to get rid of in these days. Common cold and constipation often go together because of the toxins in the Lungs and the Large Intestine. Let go of your emotions, don't keep them stuck in your chest, practice deep breathing and let go, like the trees let go of their old leaves in Autumn.

The Lungs and Large Intestine work together as a team. If you can't let go your stuck old emotions, the more negativity and depression you will build up in your body, making you more toxic inside. You collect more and more garbage that way. You can hurt your Lungs and then Large Intestine with the toxins building up in your body and from the toxicity you may develop a cold, cold sore, sore throat, allergies, eczema or constipation. Flush away your unnecessary thoughts like you flush your poop, your waste.

Universal energy called Chi flows through meridians (channels) inside our body. The Lung Meridian is active in the early morning between 3am and 5am. If you have a cold, this is the time when you probably start coughing, just after you wake up. The imbalance in the Lung Meridian can be manifested in shortness of breath, cough, bronchitis or a cold.

Chi flows through the Large Intestine Meridian between 5am and 7am. This is a perfect time to sit on the toilet, relax and let go. Pay attention to the size, color and smell of your poop, as it tells a lot about your health. The healthy poop looks like a smooth sausage or a banana without any cracks. If you are often constipated a glass of warm water with squeezed lemon and 2 drops of apple cider vinegar in the morning may help.

What does the Large Intestine like?

Chewing food slowly and completely, taking a walk after a meal, drinking plenty of water, lots of sleep, crying sometimes ( the tears can remove a lot of toxins from the body so If you feel like cry, please cry, it is OK), breathing correctly, choosing healthy foods, such as green vegetables.

What the Large Intestine doesn't like?

Eating fast on the run, poorly chewed foods, acidic foods, high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, irregular eating patterns, dehydration, cold beverages and cold dairy foods, carbonated drinks, sugar, stress, stagnant job, poor sleep

To help your Lungs feel better you can practice Qi Gong or Tai - Chi outside in nature, breathing the fresh autumn air. Also, you can work with your meridians, tracing them in upward and opposite directions. Learn about acupressure points for the Lungs and Large Intestine, and learn how to massage them.

There is a lot you can do to love your Lungs and the Large Intestine, especially during the month of December.

Live your life to the fullest!

Practice releasing - releasing old painful relationships, or old clothes or a job that doesn't give pleasure, RELEASE THE PAST WITH JOY!
