Welcome to a new year! Let's let go of the old and welcome the new in our lives! Start again and this time let's start to focus on your body. Your individual body is the only one you have, and if you love it, positive effects will be seen in other parts of your life as well.
I can recognize easily when people don't love themselves enough, signs are seen in their bodies, skin and faces. When someone comes to me for a massage or a private consultation about their health, I look at them and sometimes the first thing that grabs my attention is the bags, or dark circles under their eyes. This is a signal that the Kidneys and Urinary Bladder need a lot of attention and love. When the client starts to talk about the unhappy relationships he or she is in, and says that he or she feels angry all the time, I usually suspect a urinary problem. I know then that it is time to teach them how to love and understand their body more. In this case, attention should be given to The Urinary Bladder.
The Urinary Bladder is a muscular sac in the pelvis that is under threat during the month of January. We know that the Bladder collects, contains and excretes urine, that it is the body's urine tank. The urine which is made in the Kidneys is stored in the Bladder before passing into the urethra and exiting the body. The Bladder is paired with the Kidneys, they work together.
The Bladder's most active time is between 3 pm - 5 pm. It is recommended to reduce fluid intake after 6 pm, to allow the Kidneys to rest during the night, something to be considered when having drinks at a late night party.
The Urinary Bladder is very sensitive to damp external climate conditions. Living in a damp environment or sitting on damp surfaces can harm your bladder, and cause urinary difficulty. Furthermore, this can cause infection, and even psychological imbalance and inability to make decisions, feelings of suspicion, jealousy and chronic fear. In children, fear and insecurity are often manifested in nighttime bed wetting.
If you suffer from frequent urinary track infections, burning urination, dark yellow urine, pale urine, or sand in the urine, always consult your doctor.
Take the time to honestly ask yourself tough questions, like "Am I chronically angry, or is my relationship with......pissing me off ? Do I feel like having a toxic relationship ? Do I feel angry, anxious, jealous in my relationships with people ? Do I have a great deal of fear in my life ?" Toxic relationships can psychologically influence your Bladder - something important to consider.
What else can negatively influence your Urinary Bladder ?
Stress, chronic fear, heavy metals, hair dyes, poor quality drinking water, toxins in the water like Chlorine or Fluoride, dehydration, processed table salt, sodas, sugar, caffeine, gluten.
Best things for your Urinary Bladder:
Relaxation, removing burdensome people from your life, fixing your relationships , letting go of fear, drinking quality water, using unprocessed sea salt, maintaining an alkaline diet with fruits and vegetables, doing Kegel exercises
Best foods for your Urinary Bladder:
Cruciferous vegetables, carrots, celery, garlic, onions, zucchini, sweet potatoes, sea food, black sesame seeds, beans, soups and bone broths, bananas, blueberries, raisins, and home made juices.
The Bladder Meridian
The Bladder Meridian is the longest energy meridian in your body. It runs along the back of the body from the eyes to the little toe with two parallel branches going along each side of the spine. This meridian governs the nervous system.
Massage and gentle touching or tapping of the meridian points stimulates the flow of energy, it releases the tension of the back of the body, and it is very relaxing and can help to relieve pain along the spine. It can also help to reduce panic attacks, ADHD or bi-polar disorder.
So now you understand a bit more why you may have those bags under your eyes all the time, or you may feel jealous, or why your relationships are suffering.
With any serious health problem, visit your doctor. For some self-help healing you can study more about the Urinary Bladder, it's meridian and how to massage.
