EVERYDAY KIDNEY HEALTH

Updated: Feb 17

In this article I would like to look at the Kidneys from a different angle.

I have noticed that lot of people who have problems with their Kidneys also have problems in their relationships. The Kidneys are our body filters, they cleanse and detoxify, removing wastes from our bodies. They control and decide what is good for us and what is toxic and has to go out as waste. They can also control our thoughts - which thought is good and will nourish us, and which one we no longer need and can let go of. Do I have fear of people, fear of relationships? Am I happy in my marriage? Am I jealous of other people in my life?

Kidney stones can appear when conflicts in our relationships begin piling up. They are lumps of undissolved anger. The body concentrates and crystallizes the waste that should be eliminated from our system. For example, a man is very unhappy in his marriage and suffers with Kidney stones, then he divorces and the stones disappear overnight. A woman has problems communicating with people in her life, she is not able to have a harmonious marriage or a harmonious relationship with her adult children, she is full of fear and jealousy of others, she always feels like a victim and she develops kidney stones and is in pain. As soon as she starts to clean up her life with self-love and forgiveness, the Kidney stones go away forever.

It is important to ask questions such as:

What kind of partner problems I am not able to cope with?

Can I see my own behavior patterns in my partner's behavior?

Do I often criticize my partner?

Am I jealous because I have fear that I will not be loved?

Kidney problems can be related to fear, low-self esteem, insecurities and isolation. Fear can damage Kidneys' motivation and their will to work. The Kidneys can crystallize the criticism, disappointment and failure in a person's life. Check my other blog about fear - it goes into details.

We have to be willing to give lot of love to ourselves, to take care of ourselves.

  • Concentrate on your breathing - practice Pranayama breathing and meditation (this also can help to reduce Kidney stones)

  • Eat Kidneys healing foods like cauliflower, cruciferous veggies, red bell peppers, cabbage - they are in season during winter

  • Conserve your energy wisely - get enough sleep, de-stress, take breaks, slow down and breathe, don't rush, limit alcohol, caffeine, sodas and drinks with bubbles as they are very acidic. Limit sugar intake, smoking, and intake of processed and refined foods (canned soups for example)

  • Take regular exercise, keep moving (go for regular walks)

  • Get a massage

  • Gently touch your Kidney area with your hands and feel the warm energy

  • Tap or massage your K-27 meridian points to energize yourself and your brain

  • Gently massage the middle of the sole of your foot with your thumb

  • Use castor oil packs or hot compresses - keep the Kidney area always warm and protected especially during winter

  • Stomp your feet to stimulate the Kidney energy

  • Rub your ears for 2 minutes daily to strengthen the Kidneys

  • Use positive affirmations: I look only for good everywhere

I dissolve all past problems with ease

I am willing to work with my stored anger and dissolve it

Only good comes from my life experiences I live in the present moment often

I am safe - always

No more criticism, shame and failures - only good comes from each experience

At Matreoca Wellness & Massage and Yoga Studio I use kidney massages together with energy exercises, yoga exercises and reflexology, working with breathing and affirmations to reprogram the subconscious mind and dissolve old habits patterns.
