When we wake up in the morning we want to have a nice day and feel good. What do you eat for breakfast usually? I asked a few people and here are the answers: "Nothing because I'm in a hurry; cold milk with cereal, bread, muffins, pancakes or croissants".
You can read my previous blogs about bakery products, flour and bread and cereal called "Bread and cereal for breakfast", "Woman's fat and bakery products". You can found these articles on martinatrenier.com/articles/September2019.

The morning food affects your mood, energy, thoughts, emotions and spirituality for rest of the day. The food provides fuel for replenishment, increases your vital force and supports your organs.
We need to communicate with our body, to bring the awareness alive. To listen to our body with loving attention. The more you listen the more you can hear it's needs. Every body is different. We need to pay attention to our body's pH. Moving from acidic state to more alkaline state. We need to alkalize our blood by eating healthy food to get new energy going and feel balanced.

5 -7 a.m. - this is a great morning time for your body to move its bowels and make room for the new nutritional intake. When you wake up, drink a glass of room temperature water, when you get to your kitchen drink another glass of warm water this time with squeezed lemon juice and a drop of apple cider vinegar. It would help to stimulate the bowels and remove the toxins from the night's cleansing.
This is the time that corresponds to the Large Intestine.
7 - 9 a.m. - This is the time when we usually have our breakfast. Our Stomach rules over this 2 hour period in the morning. So what can we eat to make the Stomach happy and balanced and keep us in the good mood for rest of the day?
We can start with green drink. Juice it or blend it. Make a green juice or smoothie. Depends how you like it and if you have the equipment for it. Be creative and don't be afraid to try green vegetable in the morning! There are plenty of recipes out there.
Cold - disrupts the digestive system, it is a shock for the Stomach, more difficult to digest
Warm - cleanse your body, flushing out toxins, better for the digestive tract
Breakfast Ideas:
fresh fruit ( a bowl of fresh berries), papaya, watermelon (full of electrolytes, gentle on the Stomach), apples
oatmeal, bananas, ginger, soaked almonds, eggs .....are good choices for breakfast
9 -11 a.m. - Spleen and Pancreas rule this time period and they like it "warm"-
warm oatmeal, green or ginger tea, home made soup (great to have for late breakfast), home -made warm bone broth ( try it instead of coffee).
If you really have to eat some bakery products, try home made bread made from almond or coconut flour. Or grain-free pancakes, waffles.
These are tips for healthy breakfast that nourishes you, gives you healthy energy and keeps your organs strong. You will have better mood, better sleep and more energy.
